After completing your
NYSC online registration, there are a few important documents you should print,
photocopy, and keep safe before proceeding to camp.
1. Print These Documents
- NYSC Green Card (Call-up Registration
Slip) – Print in color.
- Call-up Letter (print immediately after it is released) – Print in color..
- Addendum (if available on your NYSC dashboard).
- NERD clearance slip
2. Photocopy These Documents
Make 3–5 photocopies
of each:
- Call-up Letter
- NYSC Green Card
- Statement of
Result or Degree Certificate
- School ID Card
(if available)
- Valid National ID
(NIN Slip or Card)
- Medical Fitness Certificate (from a government or military hospital, where required)
- Passport photographs (carry at least 8 – 16 copies with white background)
3. Arrange in Separate Files
Prepare:
- Original Documents File
- Photocopies File
This makes
documentation at the orientation camp much easier.
4. Other Things to Do Before Camp
- Verify your Call-up Letter details (name,
state of deployment, reporting date).
- Download and save digital copies of all documents on your phone and email.
- Book your transportation to camp early.
- Get enough cash for transport and initial expenses.
- Buy essential
camp items such as:
- White shorts
- White round-neck
T-shirts
- White tennis
shoes
- White socks
- Toiletries
- Mosquito net
- Torch/flashlight
- Power bank
- Padlock
- Water bottle
5. Keep Soft Copies
Save scanned copies
(PDF) of:
- Green Card
- Call-up Letter
- Degree/Statement
of Result
- Medical
Certificate
- National ID
- NERD clearance slip
- Passport photograph
Store them on your
phone, email, or cloud storage for easy access.
